Generally Lisa and I like velour things – they are soft, pleasant to touch and comfortable. Velour (from French velours – velvet, silk velvet) is knitted fabric or textile. It has soft, piled, wooly surface, for example, velour-thick woolen fabric for making a warm coat. It can be made from cotton and synthetic materials such as polyester. It is applying to sew clothes or upholstery. Not long ago my sister Lisa was presented a handbag made from velour by her friend Sasha. It can be washed if needed or just cleaned if Lisa is lacking of time. As far as I know that velour is used for making hats and caps, gym bags, baby totes, sneakers, diaper bags, socks, dog accessories and so on and so forth. Of course, it is good for baby’s clothes as well. Different pajamas, jackets or dresses that are made of velour can be successfully found online nowadays and be sure, my sister used to buy lots of them this way. Synthetic velour is good for trousers that I like to use while staying at home, in hotels, or for walking. Actually I have a few things made from velour – a beautiful red hat for winter cold days, blue trousers for walking and a nice handbag for going in for gym. I am fond of aerobics and twice a week I attend gym to keep fit. My figure is perfect and my friends always are interested in my diet. Generally, I have no any special diet, just some restrictions in white bread and cakes. But I try to remember my mom’s words – “movements save your spirits”, she would say it again and again. By the way, she is also crazy about exercising and looks terrific despite the fact that she is 60. You never give her age judging by appearance. We are like friends wherever we go whatever we do… That is marvelous.
